I opened Kim Adams Hair Design in Saint Petersburg, Florida after more than 30 years styling hair in Atlanta, Georgia. As the owner of Salon 2000 located in the heart of Midtown, I managed a staff of 10 stylists while maintaining a large clientele of my own.
Originally from New Bern North Carolina, I have always loved the beach! After visiting Saint Petersburg, I quickly fell in love. In early 2019 I decided to make a life-change and the Burg became my permanent home. It took a few months to settle in and explore this great town with my standard poodle, Zoey and partner Jeff. Then I opened Kim Adams Hair Design 415 3rd Street South, Suite 207 in Saint Petersburg.
One of the things that I most enjoy about styling hair is the ever-changing designs. Whether it’s hairstyles for men or hairstyles for women, I enjoy finding the one that best fits my client’s personality and lifestyle. A master colorist, I select the perfect tones and highlights to make hair “pop”.
I like to create that “special” look for my clients. I take the time to get to know each one personally because it is important to know them before cutting their hair. If you want to change styles, I encourage you to bring pictures from the web or magazines of cuts and colors you like and don’t like. That way I can home in on the perfect style for you.
